The Rhino 'business' end. Rhino horn is made from keratin, basically the same stuff as your fingernails, but very densely packed. China and other East Asian nations are the biggest consumer of Rhino horn products, mainly because of a misguided notion that horn cures impotency! This of course means they provide the market for and ultimately sustain the poaching cartels that have decimated Rhinos throughout Africa. Pound for pound, Rhino horn is more valuable than gold.
