The Ring Road (Highway 1) in Iceland probably has more single-lane bridges than any other national highway in the western world. This one crosses a river that forms the outlet for Jokulsarlon, a lagoon populated by icebergs that are breaking off a glacier. The icebergs flow under this bridge, then wash up on the black sand beach.
