Behind The Lens
Location
This was taken at our old house, a few years back. It's a young blackberry leaf, and the way they are serrated made for amazing water distribution.Time
Very early. I prefer to be up and out by 6 AM, especially when it comes to nature macro.Lighting
I always shoot a little too light when I'm working with water, then adjust the contrast a little later.Equipment
An old beater d90, which is my favorite to this day. I have a jerry rigged lens set up w/ a macro attachment, then HD fisheye, which I might put another macro attachment on later. I like the effects I get in the background.Inspiration
Nature. That's all we need for inspiration.Editing
I barely do anything with processing. It will always be fixing a tone, or contrast. I don't actually know how to do some of the more advanced edits. In my camera bag
D90, 610, many macro attachments, tripod, lens cloths and cleaners since it's often raining when I'm out.Feedback
Take your time, and look closely at something you might normally pass by.
