Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in a Dutch zoo called Beekse Bergen.

Time

It was taken somewhere in the afternoon, I don't remember the exact time it was taken.

Lighting

I wanted the Flamengo to pop out of the picture

Equipment

I used an old Nikon D80 with a 28-85 mm Nikkor lens.

Inspiration

The way the flamenco was standing with the curled neck.

Editing

I made the picture a little darker to let the flamenco pop out more. I do take pictures for a very long time but I am new to editing.

In my camera bag

I mostly have my Nikon D80 with the 28-85 mm Nikkor lens, sometimes I take a 75-300 mm Nikkor lens for long distance. To concerts I always take my Sony cybershot HX90

Feedback

Never take a picture with the sun on the side where you capture the picture. Make sure it's behind you. Then I think just practice makes perfect! Eventually you'll see, with animals or concerts, the good positions to shoot a picture.
