Breeding season at RSPB Bempton. There is a permanent gannet colony at Bempton. This shot captures the birds as they take to flight in the search for food. I thought it made a good composition showing colours, wing shapes, feet, in flight and stationary. These are magnificent birds and I love to watch them.
