I love this photo & have been there many times as my Mother was a native Oregonian & I was born in Roseburg.I esp. love the Columbia River Gorge so magnificent !

This image was taken in situs outside Portland, Oregon. It’s a beautiful waterfall.Time
It was around midday and I found a lot of people visiting the area. I tough it would be difficult to get the shot without anyone. Suddenly I found a moment when no one was passing through so I took the shot.Lighting
The light condition wasn’t so good but nevertheless I managed to get a nice shot.Equipment
Sony a6000 wide angle lens, no flash, handheld.Inspiration
I love to take images of nature, landscapes, seascapes, flowers and of course waterfalls. And this one, as an iconic place, was the perfect site to take the shot.Editing
I did some corrections in exposure and contrast with Lightroom.In my camera bag
I always carry with me my camera, one wide angle lens, one telephoto lens and one macro lens. Filters, extra battery, extra memory card, cleaning kit and charger. Besides I carry my travel tripod.Feedback
The ideal for a photographer is to get a shot during the blue or golden hours. Buy sometimes it’s not possible. Try to do your best with what you have.
