This photo was taken at Australia Zoo when I was visiting family.Time
This was taken mid afternoon, from the inside viewing area.Lighting
I’ll be honest, I’m not a professional so when I’m taking photos I’m just trying to ensure I’m avoiding my own shadow obscuring the object I’m trying to capture. In this case being inside, I just remember changing my position without wasting too much time as this beautiful creature can change position in a second!Equipment
Just my good old Samsung8 at the time.Inspiration
As for many Tigers are one if my favourite animals, I was there for quite a long time watching him and he just came so close and looked so peaceful, but powerful at the same time. It was just one of those awesome moments that will forever be etched in my memory.Editing
Nope, I took a few different shots due to being inside a fairly dark room, and the minute I saw this I loved it. No touching up, it is exactly as it was taken in the moment. In my camera bag
Nothing, I just do this for fun because I love it. My husband moans about constantly as I’m always snapping away....it’s me my phone and I also have a small Samsung digital camera DSC-WX350 that I have just started using again.Feedback
Just be patient, and if using a phone take lots, don’t depend on taking that one shot and it being what you expect. I’ve been taking lots of photos lately of our garden visitors, and I can be waiting for ages in one position waiting for example the blue tit to fly in and he’s gone in seconds but I know he’s coming back _ have observed his routine, so I wait and it can be a long time! Helps when I’m sitting in the hot tub....????
