The history of the Reichsburg Cochem goes back to the 12. century. In the 17. century in got fully destroyed and was rebuilt in the end of the 19. century from a Berlin trader names Louis Fréderic Jacques Ravené in a new gothic style.
Today it is the emblem of the Town Cochem, with is located in the state of Rheinland-Pfalz in the west of Germany.
It's beautiful location on a hilltop above the city and the river Mosel, makes the castle even more attractive for tourists all over the World.
