Behind The Lens

Location

This Picture was taken from the small Hill next to the Street at the Bridge of the Sylvensteinspeicher, near Vorderriss, Bavaria, Germany.

Time

This is a Stack of 5 Pictures. First Bracket was taken during the Sunset. Second after the Sun was set during the Blue Hour, when the Light was weak enough for long time exposures to catch the Lighttrails of the Cars.

Lighting

The Reason for me to integrate the Lighttrails into the Sunset Picture was to Highlight the Curve of the Bridge.

Equipment

For this Photo I was using my Canon 70D with a 28mm/1,8 Lens and a stable common Tripod.

Inspiration

I saw a lot of Pictures of this Bridge on the Internet, but no combination of Sunset and blue Hour. So there was time to do one.

Editing

As Post-Processing I was using Lightroom for the Basic corrections, then Hugins for the Stiching of the Panorama. After this I was using Photoshop for the blending. I also used filters out of the Nik-Collection.

In my camera bag

3 Lenses: Sigma 18-250mm as the Allrounder, Tokina 11-16mm and the Canon 28mm/1.8. One Speedlight 430 Ex II, Filters: ND-1000, Polarizer. Very common tripod (It does its job). Some Cables, batteries,...

Feedback

Take your Time and try to keep your Tripod stable. The Position is pretty slippery, so just climb up there if the Weatherconditions are good.
