The Phil G. McDonald Memorial Bridge is located in Raleigh County, West Virginia. With a deck height of 700 feet above Glade Creek it is the highest bridge within the United States Interstate Highway System. It is named in honor of Phill G McDonald who was awarded the Medal of Honor for his actions in the war in Vietnam.
