A common frog found in the wet lands of western ghats (Coorg-Kodagu). These frogs are found near human habitation. Monsoon is the best time to spot these frogs. You can spot frogs from evening 18:00 hrs to early morning, and capture their behaviors. Frogs are masters in camouflaging, you need to wait for their calls to spot them or you need to be really good at spotting these amphibians. I spotted this frog around 6 P.M on this tree and had to wait for this shot for nearly an hour. A female frog was hiding inside the bush, and there was another male bush frog started to call from other side of the tree. It was the competition between these frogs and the calls were repeatedly exchanged to impress the female frog for mating. In the course of repeated calls I shot this image.
