This picture was taken at my mothers home In Ontario. It was many years ago where we had a friendly chipmunk who lived in our yard who we fed often.Time
This friendly chipmunk woke me around 10 AM so I would come down to feed her, Silly thing she was tapped on my room window ! I'd sneak a few walnuts out to feed her that morning because we ran out of peanuts. grabbed my Camera (PowerShot sport if I am correct) and went to see what would come out of that morning, Chipmunks are a fickle thing after all. Even my little girl Peanut. Summer of 2015 at least.Lighting
I was and still am using natural lighting. Some morning the sun is just bright enough but still soft that its not necessary to alter or add artificial light. This lovely little girl was beautiful in her natural environment and I wanted to keep her as she was.Equipment
I used a Canon PowerShot Sport (SX20 IS) a fairly old modern day digital. Nothing else was added or used for this Picture.Inspiration
I've taken many pictures of this silly girl before with Peanut shells everywhere! She held the walnut, almost as she was posing in gratitude for the walnut. She enjoyed eating in company and took her time when I was outside. I loved spending time outside with her and it seemed like she did as well. She even ate off my lap once! It was a special moment for me and I wanted to immortalize it.Editing
Apart from putting it on my computer and having to name it. It is as natural as my model in the picture.In my camera bag

Some times luck will be on your side, but for this? Be friends with the wild life and they will surprise you with another side. A gift of trust lets you get closer than you ever would. I was withing 5 ft for this little girl because I fed her and took my time with her. 3 years of great friendship and I got to meet her babies when they were old enough to be outside. Patience and relaxation with these animals makes them like you.
