I was recently at Great Sand Dunes National Park for a couple nights while working in CO this summer. I had one magical night filled with rain, clouds, tones, and an epic sunset. As soon as the sun went down, strong winds came up from the Sangre de Cristo Mountains forcing me to fight them home to my tent while wearing sunglasses to protect my eyes. In the dark. I will never forget this night, it was truly exceptional!
