I was lucky enough to be visiting Chateaux Bonaguiil in South West France, The mantis shot was taken in the vegetable garden, initially the mantis flew onto my husbands backpack but then settled within the greenery so it was a lucky shot!Time

Just keep looking for the opportunities. I’m an amateur photographer so I have no specialist knowledge or equipment but if you keep your gear with you and your eyes peeled the world can produce some of the most amazing chances to capture something special.
