Behind The Lens

Location
The picture was taken in St.Petersburg, Russia, on a chilly day in October.
Time
It was in the afternoon
Lighting
The lighting was naturally favorable to this sort of ominous looking photography. Low clouds looked like it was about to rain but there was enough light just yet.
Equipment
Canon 5dm3, canon 24-70, 2,8. No tripod, no flash. Three or four variants.
Inspiration
The ship - the famous Aurora - is the one which fired back on 1917 to start a riot. The riot to become the October communist revolution in Russia. The riot which brought about the demise of the monarchy and the appearance of the new Russia.
Editing
A bit of down toning, a bit of sharpening and desaturation. Not too much of anything.
