Behind The Lens

Location
I took this shot just a few less frommy home. I woke up on Sunday morning and the fog and lighting was just perfect. Drove around to multiple places to get a few pictures I hadbeen waiting for just such conditions.
Time
This was taken early morning around 8:00am mid Fal in late October.
Lighting
The lighting was just right! No rays of sun coming through. It was pretty dense fog but starting to lift just then.
Equipment
I used my Canon EOS 10D. I did putthis on my tripod whichI moved around a few times.
Inspiration
I had this picture in mind for awhile and waiting for just such a foggy morning.
Editing
Yes. I cropped this from a portrait view and added some orange too. I touched up a few limbs so as not to distract from the driveway.
In my camera bag
As I am self taught and only work part time I don't have much. I still just have my canon 10D, a 15-80 lens and 70-300 which neither have stabilization so I do have to make sure to use my tripod.
Feedback
Mentally prepare - have a picture in mind you want in a certain spot, take multiple photos to get just the right angle, and if you need to adjust the colors to match what you hadin mind go ahead. You are the artist. The camera lets you share what the camera sees, processing lets others see whatyou see.
