Meet the SS Ayrfield, also known as the Floating Forest. This 1,140 tonne steel vessel was built in 1911 in the UK and was later registered in Sydney in 1912 as a steam collier. During WWII it was used to transport supplies to American soldiers stationed in the Pacific region. In 1972, the ship was retired and has remained in the Homebush Bay ship-breaking yard ever since, where it was eventually enveloped by nature.

This is such an emotional photo, it just proves that nature will find a way to grow, and there's nothing that will stop it, Its something that wants to be left as is for others to enjoy.....
