Taken on the Jurassic Coast Dorset. I wanted something a little different and came up with the idea of using the moon to highlight Durdle Door, it was a case of waiting for the moment. It was a cold night and my wife wasn't going to wait, can't blame her really. She walked back to Lulworth Cove with the dog and waited in the local pub. I waited on the cliff top for the moon to make an appearance after getting my shoes wet from a wave when taking photo's down on the beach. My feet were like ice-blocks. Oh the joys of photography. I was the only person left witnessing this magical moment. I started the long walk back when there was no more light and couldn't find my torch. So, I did manage to step in a couple of cow pats on the way back. I must have looked like a right tramp when walking through the pub doors. Still, happy with the results and a great evening on the coast is always fantastic.
