This Spanish mission church was built by Padre Eusebio Kino (1645 - 1711) in what was once part of Spain's New World. It is of Moorish design and is the oldest European structure in the state of Arizona. The steeple on the right was never finished. Today (2022), the steeple has been restored utilizing period correct methods.
