I shot this in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico the day before I was leaving. When I arrived, this baby had been a mere egg the size of a tic tac. I tried for 2 months to get close, but far away enough to photograph with a telephoto. But momma wasn't having any of it. This was the only day wasn't around to stop me. It's amazing how fast they grow.
