This picture was taken at the living room table in my house in La Plata (Argentina)Time
The image was prepared on a Saturday afternoon when I was looking at some very nice photos in ViewBug.Lighting
I wanted to highlight the textures of the wood and the porosity of the heads, so I used front lighting but no flash for shadows to appear.Equipment
The photo was taken with my Olympus Though TG-870 camera, with an exposure time of 1/125, ISO-800Inspiration
I saw in ViewBug some macro photos in which the textures were highlighted and I liked the porosity of the match heads. To make a detail that highlights I remembered those images where I had to look for Wally among a group of people and painted one with red stripes the way that Wally had on his shirt.Editing
The photo has a bit of processing in photoshop to highlight the main image a bit over the darker background and increase the textures more.In my camera bag
I only use the Olympus camera, which can be carried in any pocket.Feedback
You should know what to look for and try many times until it comes out as you want. Patience first of all.
