This stunning view is located just about an hour drive from the capital city of the Republic of Macedonia, Skopje. I went to this place in January 2016, and even though there was no snow at the time, I still remember how chilly the wind that was coming towards me was. I captured this photograph for sunset, just before the sun was completely overtaken by these huge fast moving clouds. In the distance is shown Kozjak Lake, the largest artificial lake in the Republic of Macedonia. I love how the sun is breaking through the clouds and enhances the misty mountain ranges in the background, creating a beautiful atmosphere in the photograph.
