I noticed what looked like a dragonfly buzzing a young Red-shouldered Hawk. When I looked closer, I noticed this Blue-gray Gnatcatcher with a wad of feathers in her talons. Apparently, the hawk got too close to her nest.

This Kestrel can be found on this dead tree on a regular basis. The Kingfisher landed on a lower branch. The Kestrel wasn't amused.
