This is the first time I have seen this baby eagle. The mating Bald Eagles I have posted here are its parents. It is likely she fledged just a few weeks ago. It appears to be a female, judging by its beak. I saw her mother the same morning. It appears she is being supervised as it is likely one of her first outings.

I was on the way to work this morning and saw this in the rear view mirror. I had to stop on the tollway to get it, but I couldn't resist.

This proud male turkey was showing off to the females. The dance was amazingly beautiful. As he turned in the light, flashing colors were cool.

Occasionally, in among the Red-winged Blackbirds, is this beautiful Yellow-headed Blackbird. Seen at Hagerman NWR at lake Texoma Texas.
