Behind The Lens

Location

In Oklahoma City off I-35. I was driving down the road headed to a Chinese Crested specialty and saw this. I HAD to go back later to get some shots of it.

Time

It was early afternoon.

Lighting

It was raining that day. Lighting was not great but I think it worked out on this one. No flash used at all on this.

Equipment

I had my Nikon d7400 and tamron 18-300 lens. It was raining so we jumped out of the car got the shots and jumped back in.

Inspiration

How unusual it is. It's not every day you see a house with these colors and built the way it is. How could you NOT want to take this photo?

Editing

Yes.....I put it in Photoshop and the Nik program and threw some contrast on it and to brighten it up.

In my camera bag

My Nikon d7400 and tamron 18-300 lens. I keep a tripod handy, batteries and a speed flash.

Feedback

I just say to always keep your eyes open and looking for the unusual. Don't hesitate to stop and go back and don't let the weather stop you either.
