This photo was actually shot in my living room. There was a lot of preparation we put into this.Time
We shot this in the evening after we were both off work.Lighting
I made sure all the windows were covered so we were not working with any kind of natural lighting. I depended on my lighting system completely.Equipment
My Nikon D7200, my tamron 18-300 lens, tripod and lighting system with flash.Inspiration
We were taking photos for a Fairy Tale session but we wanted to put a spin on it and be different.Editing
I used light room and then went into photo shop and the Nix program and put a grunge look to it.In my camera bag
My Nikon D7200 is my new camera that I LOVE! I always carry it with me. I keep a tripod handy and speed flash. I always carry an extra battery and memory cards of course.Feedback
I worked on props for this shoot for a couple of months - I have a daytime 40 hour per week job so having time to run around for props is harder for me. Every small detail I got ahead of time was less work in processing afterwards. I worked with my model on everything she was comfortable with ahead of time to make sure everything would run as smoothly as possible. Above all with this type of photo we really just had fun with it.
