Location
Walking through Laguna Nimez in Calafate, Argentina, we found many birds because it is a Natural Reserve and there are viewpoints and bird observatories. My husband goes to those places with me because he knows that I really like animals. He prefers urban photography and landscapes. Then he lent me his camera, which I don't like because it weighs a lot, although I know I can take better pictures than with my camera.Time
Early in the morning because that is when the most birds are seen in those places.Lighting
There was excellent light at that time of the morning. Despite being in autumn, the day was very good.Equipment
I usually use a Canon PowerShot SX70 HS, but this time I used the Canon EOS 5D Mark II.Inspiration
I wanted to test if I was capable of taking a photograph of a bird in mid-flight. And I did it the first time.Editing
Yes of course! I use a program to develop all my photographs because I take them in raw format. In my camera bag
Normally just my camera which is practical. But this time we had lenses, a tripod, etc. (Canon 16-35 mm F2.8 / Canon EF de 70-200mm f2.8)Feedback
Be patient and wait for the right moment to take the photograph. Many times you can't wait long because the distances are very long and you have to make the most of the moment.
