'A Happy Dog'
Though I don't very often share my pets, my four-year Rottweiler, Diesal, has put on a smiling pose, and I figured it must be shared. Though it is very easy to capture him posing, it is, perhaps, not so easy to capture his ebony color.
For this image, I used the sunset shooting mode in-camera, which doesn't edit the image, but alters white-balance in an effective way to capture the brilliance of sunset colors. However, the way it captures color doesn't make a black dog (or cat) look like a strange blob against too bright green grass.
