"Happyness"

It has been quite a while since I saw this man in Cologne.
However, he has always remembered me, for this one, special moment.
This moment, in which he played, and a smile enraptured his face, as if he were there with a full heart.
It was a bit profound to see this man, as he, with no more than one folding chair, a cup and an accordion, radiate so much happiness and joy, while all who possessed so much more than he did, ran around completely scattered and full of worry.

This moment was remembered, because he was clearing up something for me;
That we can fill our lives with unnecessary things, believing that they will not ease our longing for what we really want.
Without noticing this unnecessary ballast is the reason for our worries.

In ancient times, there was a quote that said that "less is sometimes more".
And so I remember this moment.
Because in my mind, he fullfills that quote in perfection.
