The Golden Gai (located in Shinjuku) is a relatively small area of narrow alleys, giving place to tiny tiny (and very expensive!) bars diverse in quality. Despite of the high prices, most of these bars were full with people from all around the world, Japanese were in minority here. The bar on the picture was maybe the only empty one, with a not so welcoming - thus unaware of my curious lens - bartender.
