Taken in Ginza, Tokyo, in December of 2016. In Japan, there are several police boxes (Kobans) on the streets; in Tokyo on almost every corner (a minor exaggeration). These are tiny police stations where policemen carefully watching if everything is in order, can give directions, or you can report them if something is not okay (English is likely not enough to do so). In general, like to photograph people in uniforms, so policemen are not an exception - usually they don't share my enthusiasm in this.
