This picture was taken on a coffee table in my living room. It's an improvised catch.Time
It was a cloudy afternoon. The only light i had was the window of my living room. Today when I look at it I find it a little dark… but I guess it adds a bit to the dramatic side.Lighting
I loved the reflection of the light on the blue egg. That gives the impression of cold sweats!Equipment
I used only my Nikon D5200 and a 55-300mm lens. I did not have a tripod at that time so I used the sofa cushions to stabilize my device.Inspiration
I had to do the cleaning of the fridge after a long absence. I was about to throw a box of eggs when I had the idea of using them to practice photo techniques.. (I was in my early days in photography.) Then I thought it would be fun to tell a story. I add the blue egg and to make thing more dramatic I add the broken egg, the bowl (which by chance had the same color than the plastic egg) and the flour. It was a creativity session!Editing
At that time, I did not know any photo software. I took all my photos in jpg. Now when I look at it I would have liked it to be a little clearer.. but it's always good to remember our beginnings! In my camera bag
I own a Nikon D5200. I add to my bag my 3 favorites lens : the Nikon 55-300mm, the Sigma 10-20mm and the Nikon 35mm. If I plan to do Macro, I bring my Sigma 105mm..I dot not always drag it because it is rather heavy. In addition to all that, I always have a tripod, a flash and filters (polarizing and neutral)Feedback
