Found a jar in the garage, filled it half-full of water. Tied a piece of rope string around it and filled it with a few Dandelions from my backyard. Then I sat it on my picnic table and shot it with the sunlight hitting it from different angles. I actually did this on May 1st for a project for my daughter, but will use it in a few photo challenges. Cheers!

Thank you KathyK for the kind words. It was just a "throw together thought" at the last minute. :)

throw together wonderful, and the light! ked a perfect angle, love the focus too and staging: the flower laid on the picnic table, okay, I love everything about it!

Wow, what a wonderful shot! Who said that weeds are useless??? The colors, the light, the warmth! The blurred background, and the rustic table! It's all beautiful. I wish I could have a tie for my challenge "Cut Flowers in a Vase"... Anyway, your picture is the runner up. Thanks so much for participating!

I did it :-)
Thanks for the permission to use your wonderful photo for an exercise in painting.
It was really difficult and I don't catch the light as beautiful like you :-)

Sorry, but I do not remember giving you permission to use any of my photos for exercises. How did you obtain it?

That is gorgeous I love the soft calming effect it has and that one flower dropped saying to me beauty doesn't last forever
