I could have done a bit better edit but played a bit with the background. The grandchildren were at Lynde Shores Conservation Area just along the shores of Lake Ontario. The birds love to feed from your hands or heads - wherever the seed or nuts are. BUT it is usually Chickadees. On this particular day, a Woodpecker - to Shaelyn's surprise landed in her hand and snatched up a peanut. She was so Amazed !!! It does not happen often. He stayed around for quite awhile this particular afternoon :)
