While the people in the Northern Hemisphere this time of the year are enjoying the nice warm weather surrounded by the colourfulness of the blossom trees, here in Melbourne the autumn with its golden leaves is slowly taking place. This photo was taken in the Alfred Nicholas Gardens which is a part of the Dandenong Ranges in Melbourne. This garden is known for the lovely autumn foliage on its trees as well as a small lake with its little boathouse, visited by lots of photographers. I went there last weekend and ended up with this photograph. I love how the green colour slowly disappears, and how the yellow, red and orange colours are becoming visible at the back of the house. Hopefully, in a period of one week, all these trees are going to be part of a beautiful golden autumn scenery. I hope you like it.
