I waited for this shot for 9 years, I blew it when the conditions were this good in 2008 and I haven't seen it like this since. I got so lucky this year to have the light work for me. She was lifting to get back to her roost mound for the night but I waited.

A Eurasian Eagle Owl peaking aid the corner.

This is a Snowy Owl doing something unique, fishing...but not for fish for rodents. This is a very deep furrow in a field and there was a flash thaw.

This time of year we start to see the GHO looking for love and nesting areas. This male flew at dusk towards the calls of a female in my forest.

A bit of an optical illusion, I managed to capture this image as this bird was coming towards me and just before she banked sharply to the left.

Here's a female Snowy Owl who was hunkered down in a wind storm, night was approaching and she lifted off to her night roost. It looks a lot more
