This Old Stone House sits on the northeast corner of the crossroads that made Manassas, Virginia an important area for transporting supplies for both armies in the American Civil War.

Two major battles, First and Second Bull Run, were fought here, the first being the first major conflict of the war.

This building had been an inn and tavern before the war and was a landmark for both the Northern and Southern armies during the battles and was use as a hospital during and after the fighting.
