Behind The Lens

Location
This photo was taken outside Our home on our small farm. We feed the wild birds!
Time
I believe this was taken in the afternoon after the bird feeders were refilled.
Lighting
My interest was to capture the American Finch pair that were daily visitors!
Equipment
I shot this from my NIKON D 5000 with my 300 mm attached.
Inspiration
The pair seemed so comfortable together ! Like an old married couple and that was my thought while taking the shot!
Editing
I did crop this photo to what a thought was attractive to the eye.
In my camera bag
I usually carry my 25-50 mm lens with my 300 mm attatched to my NIKON. A tripod and monopod travel most places with me! Sometimes I bring along in larger camera bag a wide angle and macro lens.
Feedback
My whole process was to be quiet and catch the stuffy , dominant male with the female just chillin behind him!
