In my Grandmothers garden on a beautiful summers day, she has the most amazing garden with lots of varieties of flowers.Time
Around 4pm, I go there with my children after school and spend time sitting with my grandmother in the gardenLighting
It was very bright due to the sun beaming down, I had to create some shade in order to get an even exposure.Equipment
I used a FinePix S1730, no other attachments.Inspiration
Purple is my favourite colour and daisies are my favourite flower, I couldn’t resist taking a full shot of its beauty, it’s rare to see purple daisies as they don’t grow in the wild here.Editing
I enhanced the colour and vibrancy and adjusted the light levels to get more definition on the petalsIn my camera bag
I started off with one simple digital camera. Now I carry a Nikon D3300 with kit lens and 70-300mm lens. I also carry cleaning cloths, wide angle lens attachment, macro lens attachment, remote control shutter release, several filters including UV and tone changer. I also take my tripod along with me in a separate carry case.Feedback
If taking photos in bright sunshine it helps to create shade over your subject to get even exposure and it helps to prop the flower if it’s a bit windy to stop it moving around so much. Don’t overdo saturation in post editing as flowers tend to have very rich colours
