I visited this little place called Waterfalls in the mountains near Porterville in the Western Cape with only one purpose: to learn how to use the aperture and shutter speed of my new Nikon D3100. Then shortly after I took this picture, I stepped onto a loose rock, slipped and fell next to the rivulet, but sadly my camera took a quick dip into the water. Although I immediately took out the battery and dried it with toilet-paper as well as I could, the camera and both lenses cost me a small fortune to get cleaned and reset professionally.
