This little dog is about 4 months old, very curious and has the very gentle personality of a Teddy Bear. (His name is "Beertjie" in Afrikaans, meaning Little Bear). He heard the sound of my camera's shutter and turned his head to have a better look at it. I was counting on his reaction to get this shot.

This little dog is a very sick little doggy at the moment! He is a victim of the Parvo virus. I visited him today, but he is very weak and not eating at all. He is on IV and antibiotics. I took a photo of him with my cellphone, and he lifted his head a little while and then fell asleep. I can just hope...

Beertjie is back at home making a slow recovery. He tried to run to meet his brother and sister (see their photos on my profile), but soon grew very tired and I had to carry him back to bed. Soon I'll have my favourite model posing for me again.
