These chicks hatched about a week after I first saw the mother nesting her eggs and the mother constantantly returned every 20 minutes to feed the two chicks. The chicks became fledglings at about the third week after they hatched and flew away.

Thank you, Natural17! Some friends and I started shooting the mother humming bird when she laid her 2 eggs and finally saw her feeding the chicks through their fledging the nest. I have a time lapse video on my Flickr site.
