I nearly sprained my ankle getting this shot. I had been photographing this band for nearly six years at this point. I knew this kick was coming and I raced to get to the right spot because I'd noticed how he lined up with the light on this particular stage earlier in the set. I ran backstage, up a ramp, around to stage right, and at full speed hit my knees and slid into position, and I got my shot.
