Soco Falls is an easily accessible waterfall located off of HWY 19 near Cherokee and Maggie Valley NC. The signs are so small you might pass it and never know. So if you're planning a visit be sure to map it out first, this will help you know when you're close. It has a platform for viewing built by the state. But to get this view seen in the picture, you have to climb down a steep mud bank with a rope. The rope is already there tied up. Just be careful and take your time. should you visit have an extra pair of shoes available, they will get dirty. It's a great area and looks great no matter how many times you visit.
