Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in Cox’s Bazar is a town on the southeast coast of Bangladesh. It is famous mostly for its long natural sandy beach.

Time

This is probably one of my favorite images. It is one of the best evenings I can remember, walking around on the beach and suddenly looking out two boys are running and the evening came closer. This was taken on March 2017-10, 5:40:38 PM

Lighting

I wanted to take the images in natural light. So I decided ambient light would be a great way of lighting the scene and adding drama as well as making the story even more intriguing.

Equipment

This was shot with Canon 60D, with an EF50mm f/1.4 USM, No other equipment was involved.

Inspiration

I wanted to take pictures of the ocean waves in the approaching evening, With the presence of some people. When two boys are running around in a game, my focus on them. I wanted to show people’s association with nature in the light of sunset.

Editing

In general landscape photography requires a processing, I had to develop the Raw color balance.

In my camera bag

I always pack in my bag Canon prime 50 mm prime lens, and 10-20 mm wide lens.

Feedback

One of the major features of the photographer is to have patience and wait for the right time. Be prepared for the diversity of landscape, color and situations. Down and dusk is the key moments.
