Like Moths to the Flame …

A couple of weeks back, the huge sea swell and pumping waves, coupled with the compelling landscape that is Old Bombo Quarry, enticed many photographers down to the sea. Lemming-like, in the pre-dawn glow, they scurried over the rocks, seeking out the best vantage spots to get THAT shot.
The wayward waves were doing their thing, massive and crashing into the rocks in every direction, each new set seemingly larger than the previous.
The marauding mozzies were doing there thing … many unprepared ankles and ears were lost that morn.
Cloud and sun rays combined to provide some enticing sky colour.
Closer and closer to the edge a few of the Lemmings scrambled … then, whoa! Waves being waves, coming … in … waves, bigger waves thundered in and their was … Tragedy!
Fortunately, no loss of lemmings, however gear, clothing and perhaps a little dignity were washed away.

I'm sure nature will repeat itself again soon …
