Behind The Lens

Location

The photograph was taken when I was passing through the jungle in Amarkantak, here in Madhya Pradesh, India. It was taken in a running car as I entered a patch of woods. I was in the back seat towards window and that wind made me so pure!

Time

It was fog all around and to my surprise, it started just after I crossed a bright sunny place. It was probably 11 AM in the morning! August, supposed to be the rainy season here.

Lighting

It was the natural dim light through the fog... I didn't have anything to change it. I was just passing by... I couldn't forget the scene as I entered the fog. It was as if I was entering a mysterious world full of magic!

Equipment

This was shot on a mobile camera Samsung S3 Neo, 13 MP. I didn't exactly remember the f value.

Inspiration

I am attracted to nature at all times and the greenery of the woods especially makes my eyes go wide. The fog along with the trees was nothing less than a film set, a natural film set. There was a definite calmness in the environment and the soothing music of the car made the moment perfect for a beautiful pic!

Editing

Probably only correcting the brightness and it required nothing else!

In my camera bag

I never forget to take out my mobile camera whenever I pass through any such place, though I would definitely like to have a Cannon D 60 camera! It's very intelligent.

Feedback

If you love mobile photography, you must know the shortcut to open the camera at once rather than unlocking the phone, opening the menu, searching the camera icon, and then opening. It kills the moment and moreover, the photograph is in your eyes, we just try to capture what our eyes appreciate, may or may not be possible for a camera!
