It's a cool morning, here in San Marcos, and an excellent time to photograph these magnificent creatures, since they are a bit sluggish until they warm up. We call this particular lizard Uhtred. He's the only black fence lizard of the group that hangs out on this wall, and is clearly the dominant male.
