The arrival of Spring brings pale, pinkish white blossoms of blueberry bushes in Juneau, Alaska. Berries are found across much of Alaska, with large bushes common in coastal regions and the smaller dwarf and bog blueberry plants in the Interior and Northern regions, as well as alpine areas. By August or September, these will be ripe and ready for pies, jams, syrups, or just straight off the bush.
