Some freshly-hatched shield bug eggs on a Maple leaf. The hatchlings are in different stages of development, some are still emerging from the eggs while others are resting and changing a darker color. Very easy to miss if someone was walking by and not looking very hard. Tiny life close up and personal is pretty cool indeed. :)
